Admissions
The School of Audiology at Pacific University aims to prepare the nation’s best Doctors of Audiology—those who practice at a true level of excellence, who connect with their patients and are willing to go the extra mile for the sake of patient care.
Each applicant is evaluated holistically to identify his or her unique combination of academic background, communication skills, technology facility and the critical ability to relate easily and well to people.
Academic strength and interpersonal communication skills are important. A strong academic track record demonstrates your ability to succeed in this intensive three-year program while great interpersonal communication skills are critical to clinical practice.
Interview Days An interview is a critical element of our review process. It allows the Audiology Admissions Committee to evaluate skills in interpersonal communication, teamwork, perseverance, commitment, motivation, attitude, warmth and professionalism. You may be invited for a daylong interview event where you can assess your fit with the program. You will have lunch with faculty and students, get a feel for our community through a variety of activities and come away with a solid foundation to make your decision.
